Here is Fergie before receiving her award and her big performance in the Teenage Choice Award.

The Dutchess is now hoping to be a designer.

Fergie is now venturing into the designing world as she is set to release her own line of handbags due in the Fall of 2007. There are three divisions of the said line:

-Nice Scout
-Naughty Scout
-The Dutchess

Her designs would be a mix of leather, mesh fabrics with silver and bronze zippers.

Here is the latest picture of Fergie with the BEP. They are currently in Seoul, Korea for their BEP concert and during the press conference, they donned the traditional Korean garb.

Is it just me or is Fergie not happy during this press conference?

As I surf the web for some Fergie trivia and interesting information, I stumbled upon the AskMen.com website where the male population state their own opinions on why such artists/celebrities are hot.

Guess what? Fergie is on the list and here is their reason on why they like our girl:

There’s something absolutely libidinous about a woman in the hip-hop industry. It’s all about attitude: this in-your-face, come-hither mindset that calls upon the audience to imagine what the music suggests. Fergie embodies this state of mind.

Fergie is known to be a fashion icon because of the way she dresses and the type of clothes that she actually wears. One thing that I noticed nowadays would be her obsession when it comes to wearing vests.

If you would look at these pictures, you would actually see her wearing her newest trend: the vest.

Is it a hit or a miss?

I recently posted about Fergie’s deal with Candie’s and how this product would have an effect in her music.

Apparently, Fergie denies claims that the said product would have an effect in her music whatsoever. Here is an excerpt from Fergie’s spokesperson:

“There is absolutely no truth in the media reports that Fergie has agreed to product placement in her songs. She does have a commercial deal with the clothing brand Candie’s, but it has nothing whatsoever to do with the creation of her music.”

You go girl! You should be the one calling the shots and not them!

Lending a hand or a mic for that matter to people who are in need is one of the things which I like most about Fergie. Just a few days ago, she was performing for the late Princess Di’s concert and now, she’s performing for the Live Earth concert.

In terms of fashion, she’s keeping it basic-too basic for my taste. Well, at least it’s not a frothy dress.

Fergie was spotted in the recently held Chanel collection show wearing a Chanel dress from the 2007 Spring Collection.

In honor of the Chanel Haute Couture Fall-Winter 07/08 collection show, almost all celebrities who attended wore their best Chanel dress in their collection. Fergie was no exception.

Though I love Fergie and her music, She seems to have a problem in giving justice to this dress. Here is the same dress worn by supermodel Raquel Zimmermann.

I don’t know about you, but I feel that there is something wrong with Fergie’s dress during that performance. By the way, this was the picture taken during the tribute concert for Diana in England.

What can you say about Fergie’s dress? Is it
a. a frothy-themed one?
b. a recycled wedding dress?
c. she looks like a girl stuck in the clouds?
d. supposed to make her regal?

Well, whatever the reason may be, she helped livened up the crowd there.

Fergie recently got a sweet deal with Iconix Brand Group Inc. for their Candie’s 2007 brand fall. The deal includes television, print and online advertising campaign.

When asked about her recent partnership, Fergie replied stating that

“Candie’s is giving me creative input and they are allowing me to bring my touch to the campaign and I love that! The clothes are so wonderful and we are tying it all together, the commercial, the print ads and my video and I am really excited about it.”

Candie’s television commercial is a direct cut from Fergie’s latest music video “Big Girls Don’t Cry”. Check out the full music video here.
