The Black Eyed Peas (BEP) are back!! Well, in the concert scene that it is.

Though there are no news for a new album, BEP fans (including me) are hopeful that there would be an announcement in the next couple of months. In the meantime, the BEP is in Korea for their concert and the members of the group would have a chance to perform their solo piece in the concert.

Will.i.am also shared some thoughts on the solo endeavors of the BEP members stating that:

“The cool thing about being in the Black Eyed Peas is that we’re kind of like solo artists in a group. Apl can sing a song in Tagalog by himself. Fergie’s got her solo album. Taboo can rap in Spanish. … It’s a good experience to be able to be in the Black Eyed Peas and still do side solo projects. Its good to have the support of friends, still go on tour and rock the stage. It’s not strange at all. You actually benefit from it”

Here is the latest picture of Fergie with the BEP. They are currently in Seoul, Korea for their BEP concert and during the press conference, they donned the traditional Korean garb.

Well, I think that its Will’s time for a solo stint and I have high hopes that it would follow Fergie’s success.

So show some love for BEP’s Will.I.am!

Now that Fergie has proven to be real hit-both with BEP as well as a solo artist, companies are now lining up to take part of her global success by sponsoring her tour and getting her to endorse their products.

According to roc’s blog and let me quote it,

Fergie is now becming a big star and corporate America shifting in its high-backed chair to pay a little closer attention.

Wow! If Corporate America is paying attention then indeed Fergie is also fast becoming a commodity. If you think about it, the Dutchess is indeed doing well in the charts considering that the music industry has suffered a lot of down period because of well, piracy and illegal downloading.

Despite rumors stating that Fergie would be leaving BEP (Black Eyed Peas) for good. The Dutchess singer replied that these stories are just what it is-rumors.

Fergie also expressed her enthusiasm over the idea of producing another album as well as in performing in the Live Earth performance next month in London. She also said that “This (event) will have been the longest time we have not performed together, so it’ll be a nice reunion.”

In terms of the BEP comeback, Fergie replied saying that:

“We don’t have an album yet, a Black Eyed Peas album. We haven’t had time; everybody’s been constantly working, as we always do. But we will have an album. We’re not going away.”

For those BEP fans, we might wait for a long time but I am sure that it is definitely worth it.
