There are rumors circulating which says that Fergie is compromising her lyrics for Candie’s Inc. This news was denied by Fergie’s rep. stating that the company would not have any control on Fergie’s music.

In line with this, the newspaper The Sunday Times of London printed an apology to the dutchess saying that: “”Although Fergie has a commercial deal with Candie’s in which she appears in advertisements for its clothing, this does not include the incorporation of the Candie’s brand into her lyrics.”

Well, who’s the boss now eh?

Fergie recently held a concert at The Pearl in Palms Hotel and Casino Resort last July 28, 2007 in Las Vegas. Celebrities attended the said concert but there were two people who caught the media’s attention: Paris and Nicky Hilton.

This article provided an apt description of the two:
Dressed in a white mini dress, a far cry from her orange jail suit of earlier this summer, the glammed up heiress watched a performance by the Dutchess. Also in a mini dress was Paris’ sister, Nicky Hilton, who joined in on the fun. Nicky was joined by boyfriend David Katzenberg, who also attended the show.

It seems like this Fergalicious singer really had a weird and troubled background. If you are held at a gunpoint, what would you do? If you were Fergie then I guess you would argue with the robber.

That was exactly what Fergie did when she encountered this kind of situation. She said that the she tried “reasoning” with the robber. Wow-reasoning. Well, that’s new! Anyway, here is the story straight out of the horse’s mouth:

“I was in the middle of a drug deal and was robbed at gunpoint. But I wasn’t terrified, I was angry. I remember saying to the robber, ‘You know what, man? I’m on your side - I don’t have any money either. We’re on the same team. “In retrospect, it was stupid and I wouldn’t mouth off now.”

Well, I can’t argue with that.

Even if you are a star, you would still experience some down side in your life and Fergie is no exception to this rule.

The singer revealed in the issue of Cosmopolitan that there was a time when she was still a member of Wild Orchid that they performed next to a pig pen. Here is a quote from the said interview:

“We went out on stage and there were only about six people in the audience. It was humiliating. We worked so hard, no one wanted to see us perform! We were all crying at the end - it was horrible.”

The recently held PJ (Pajama) party for Fergie has been deemed as a “success” as all girls from variuos ages attended the said pj/concert part of the Dutchess.

The event was sponsored by the Victoria’s Secret pink. This is really an interesting marketing strategy for this successful lingerie company. Here is an interesting description of the said event:

For the one-night party, the outdoor concert venue was refitted with bubblegum-pink banners on the bleachers and strung with oversized Pepto-pink balloons. A makeshift beach with sand and beach chairs led the way to a shop selling Pink sweats and a $24 limited-edition concert tee.

You might be wondering how this hot couple started.

Well, according to news reports Fergie had read something about Josh’s fascination with her and with the urging of her friends she decided to date the Las Vegas hottie. When asked on how she meet Josh, Fergie replied stating that “I had read in a magazine that he’d had a naughty dream about me. All my friends knew about him because he had been a soap opera star. I’m not into soap operas, but they told me, ‘You gotta go out with him. Do it for the group. Take one for the team.’”

Nothing like a wet sweet dream to start a great relationship.

I recently posted a blog entry pertaining to Josh and Fergie’s pole trippin’ in their new house. Apparently, Fergie’s mom also caught up in that news.

Ryan Seacrest was conducting a radio interview with Fergie and suddenly the line was transferred to Fergie’s mom which was her surprise guest. When asked about the “pole” news, Fergie replied stating that: “Um, I don’t know. I’m going to find out in a few days.”

In truth, Fergie’s mom was a good sport saying that “After a year if you’re not using that pole anymore, just turn it horizontal and you can use it as a guard rail for me”.

Pretty cool eh?

Fergie is known to be a fashion icon because of the way she dresses and the type of clothes that she actually wears. One thing that I noticed nowadays would be her obsession when it comes to wearing vests.

If you would look at these pictures, you would actually see her wearing her newest trend: the vest.

Is it a hit or a miss?

It seems weird watching your boyfriend acting out a love scene in TV or in movies. Apparently, Fergie does not share that wariness.

According to the Fergalicious singer, she loves watching Josh getting it on in his show, Las Vegas.

According to Fergie, watching the love scenes makes her “feel better”. She was also quoted stating that: “When I’m away to see him kiss other women because it reminds me of our own kisses and what I can look forward to when I get home. But even Josh thinks that’s a strange attitude.”

Wow. Talk about weird.

It seems like one of the budding interest of Fergie is pole dancing. In fact, Josh recently purchased a pole in their recently bought house. Josh mentioned that Fergie regards pole dancing as a “fun alternative to her exercise regime”.

Though Fergie seems interested in pole dancing, she still needs to perfect it according to Josh. He was also quoted stating that “Fergie is taking lessons, but she won’t get on it until she knows what she’s doing, ‘cause she doesn’t want to look stupid.”

Whatever the case maybe, you could be sure that Josh is one happy guy.

Fergie is known in speaking her mind up and sharing her not-so glamorous experience when it comes to her life. Presently, she is opening up about her lesbian past.

Fergie mentioned that this was a result of her strict Catholic upbringing by experimenting with two things: drugs and sex. Here is one of her most memorable quotes:

“I won’t say how many men I have slept with, although it’s not many, but I am a very sexual person.”

Did you know that even before Fergie joined the BEP, she was already a member of another group? Yes, that’s right.

She was one of the members of a band called Wild Orchid. Here is what Wikipedia has to say about this band:

Wild Orchid (1991-2004) was an American vocal group, featuring Stacy Ann Ferguson (later of the Black Eyed Peas), Stefanie Ridel and Renee Ilene Sandstrom (two of them transplanted from Kids Incorporated). Wild Orchid began while the girls were in their mid-teens; songwriter Bobby Sandstrom helped them write and record demos. They eventually signed a music publishing deal with Sony Publishing before signing with RCA Records in 1994. Thier original name was NRG, but due to legal reasons it was changed. The original line up included singer Micki Duran, who later left the group.
